What is launching
Flow Direct: Pay by Card
Register online, add a Visa or Mastercard business credit card, and pay supplier invoices and tax from the portal or the app. Suppliers on the network appear automatically. Any other supplier, you upload the invoice and their bank details. The supplier is paid by bank transfer with a remittance advice. Your cash leaves on your card statement date.
It is the same settlement as Flow: ePayment, without the ERP or bank integration. Enrol and pay.
About Flow Direct →Flow Receive: Supplier Network
Join once and your customers can pay your invoices by card without you accepting a card. They pay GlobalFinex B2B. We pay you by bank transfer for the full invoice value, with a remittance advice naming the customer and the invoices. Your prices, terms and margin do not move, and card handling in your business ends.
Customers pay you through Flow Direct or, if they run it, through Flow inside their own systems.
About Flow Receive →Why now
Two things came together. The first is a change in how card acceptance costs can be recovered in Australia from 1 October, which has a lot of suppliers deciding whether to keep accepting cards at all. The second is that the model we have run for larger buyers inside their ERP for some time, where GlobalFinex B2B is the merchant and the supplier is simply paid by bank transfer, was always going to work without the integration. The two launches are the same answer from both sides of the invoice.
Pays by card
Registers once, sees the invoices, pays with a stored business credit card. Gets the time to their statement date and keeps their card rewards.
Takes the card payment
We are the merchant. We verify both parties, process the card in our own environment and pay the supplier by bank transfer with a remittance advice.
Is paid by bank transfer
Full invoice value, with a remittance advice naming the customer. No merchant facility, no card data, no change to terms. Nothing to endorse.
The one sentence. The customer chooses to pay by card. The supplier is paid by bank transfer. The card is our problem, not theirs.
What is available from 1 October
- Flow Direct registration online, approved on screen for most businesses
- Payment of invoices from suppliers on the network, of uploaded invoices from any other supplier, and of tax
- Flow Receive enrolment for suppliers who want their customers to pay by card without accepting one
- Visa and Mastercard business credit cards
- Remittance advice by email, in the portal, or as an integrated file through B2BE EDI
Australia first. Both products run on the same rails as Flow and Pace, which operate for larger buyers in several markets today, and the network grows as suppliers join it. If you are a supplier whose customers are asking to pay by card, or a business that wants to pay by card without a project, the pages above set out how each works and how to start.
Enrol and pay. Or join the network and be paid.
Both are live. If you would rather talk it through first, the team is available.
